Arab Casting is a live acting competition that assembles actors from the
MEA region to compete in front of a jury. Carla Kamel, in her position as
Creative Director, crafted the idea, developed the overall mood and style,
chose the music genre and graphics, and oversaw the execution of one
explosive opening show and seven different acting scenes. Each scene
was composed of various characters, costumes and sets, requiring led screen graphics, lighting
design, stage management and ‘‘mise en scene’’ falling under one creative and meaningful theme.
